 "Fabellae sacrae"

Fairy tales, adventure novels, Hollywood movies – stories in their many guises are a part of the fabric of our cultural identity. They have a formative influence on our thinking and our values. In many societies stories are of a religious nature. Often the storyteller fulfills both ritual and religious duties, for instance in shamanistic societies and in Sufism.

Our "Fabellae sacrae" programme is made up of essentially narrative  works composed in Italy in the first half of the 17th century.
